New clinical web access from home

Starting today July 14, the way you access clinical systems from
outside work will change. You will now need to point your web
browser to
https://vpn.shands.org
Please note that the department IT group does not know anything
about these systems, nor do any of us have accounts. So for
clinical systems support, please call 352-265-0526. I believe
they answer the phone 24/7.
Fake emails/phishing
=============
We (you included) continue to receive fake emails that ask for
your account information. Some of those look pretty real (see
below).
However, if you follow our rules, it does not matter how real
they look:
= NEVER give out your password to anybody
= NEVER send credit card numbers, bank account numbers, social
security numbers via email
= NEVER click on links to financial institutions in an email;
access the online site via a bookmark or by directly typing the
address.

less than $10 each? Go to the UF bookstore with your gatorID
card and ask for the ‘Work at Home’ version. You will get an
official CD that you can use at home.
