Tip # 23- Vista and IE7
Problem - Cannot
access the departmental GroupWise mail server to read my mail via the internet.
Computer has Vista and Internet Explorer 7.
Solution - The security features in
Internet Explorer 7 running under Windows Vista are causing the difficulties.
Open IE 7 and click on Tools | Internet Options | Advanced. Scroll down to the security section and make sure that the box in front of Use SSL 2.0 is checked. Click Apply and then OK. Try accessing your mail again. The GroupWise webaccess should now connect to the web site and display the GroupWise mail login screen.
