Groupwise Tips
I received the e-mail message below over the weekend. It sounds
important and I do not want them to cancel my membership. Wait now.
What membership? What online service?
They want me to open the attached document. DON'T. Just don't!
Opening their attachment will very likely cause bad things to happen
to your computer.
If indeed they were on the level they would have indicated exactly
who they were and what online service and membership was involved.
DELETE their entire e-mail message.
Please keep your virus protection up to date on all your computers

The UF Software CD is available at the bookstore located on the
ground floor of the Medical Science Building for $3.00. It contains
software that can help your computer fight virus and spyware
infections. This
software has been licensed by the University for your use including
use at home on your systems.
If you have children who use e-mail please inform them not to open
attachments like this.
Dear Bob, Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of unsolicited spam messages during the recent week. If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and confirm the attached document so you will not run into any future problems with the online service. If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to cancel your membership. Virtually yours, Network Administrator Team
