Cervical Plexus Block Provides Postoperative Analgesia After Clavicle Surgery — Choi et al. 100 (5): 1542 — Anesthesia & Analgesia

This question seems to come up a fair amount. Just a letter to the editor, but a nice dermatomal mapping is attached. Not so sure about the classic approach to the deep cervical plexus; this is a near-root structure. No needle description is give. I would hope it was large and non-sharp, with appropriate aspiration/open-air drain opportunities prior to injection.
