Long Distance Calls

Long distance calls for business purposes should be placed by dialing 9 + 1 + area code + phone number. In University buildings, SUNCOM calls are dialed 8 + SUNCOM number.

PERSONAL long distance calls MAY NOT be charged to the department. They should be made by use of a personal credit card or by reversing the charges. Should a personal call be charged to the department in error, that employee should promptly notify Marilyn Blackwell to arrange for reimbursement to the department.
It is the policy of the Department to review SUNCOM and long distance calls made from department phone lines.
