ACCREDITATION
The University of Florida College of Medicine is accredited by
the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to
provide continuing education for physicians.
CREDIT
The University of Florida College of Medicine designates this
educational activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1
Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate
with the extent of their participation in the activity.
NURSING ACCREDITATION
Application is in process for accreditation by the American
Association of Nurse Anesthetists for 20 credit hours.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Anesthesiologists, anesthesiology residents, nurse anesthetists,
anesthesia assistants, anesthesia associates
OBJECTIVES
The participant will gain insight into selection of patients and
techniques to understand pharmacology and physiology in
anesthetic practice, proper care and use of anesthetic
equipment, improving medical systems and efficient use of
operating room time in a high-quality manner, and recent changes
in life support protocols.
REGISTRATION (by March 1, 2008)
Physicians: $725
Nurses, CRNAs, Fellows, Residents, Others: $450
CANCELLATION POLICY
You may transfer to another course of equal value (transfer
credit good for only one year), send a substitute person, or
receive a refund. Written cancellation for a full refund, less a
$50 processing charge, must be made by March 1, 2008. No refunds
after March 1, 2008. In the event that the course is canceled,
UF Continuing Medical Education is not responsible for
non-refundable travel fares or lodging deposits.
